hot fudge

Waterfalls roll off of the icelandic mountains like hot fudge rolls off a sundae. Thats the phrase i coined to describe them. They are everywhere, and the roll off of every side of the mountains. We were on our own for most of the trip so we had to use the timer on the camera to get pictures of the two of us. Here is an example of how smoothly it usually turns out.

Try one. Just laughing about me tripping and almost falling into the water on my timed run. Then we laugh and stare at each other saying "what should we do?"
result:
looks like a sappy engagement photo.

try two:
70's record cover.

try three:
David didn't make it to the other side of the camera in time.

try four:
David runs as fast as he can, makes it, then we both panic because we have one second before the shutter clicks and we don't know what to do. I strike a pose, and whack david in the mouth. He bends over in pain.

try five:
laugh.

poor david:
So, we ended up with these ones at other waterfalls:

I call this picture Old Lady Winward
