gondola

I had a wedding up at Red Pine lodge and we had to load the entire wedding into the tiny gondola cars. I stayed up at night stressing about it for days, but it didn't end up being that bad thanks to a helpful staff of mine at the lodges.  These are probably two of my favorite pictures of david, ever. He wasnt actually mad when he was helping me, we were having a lot of fun I just snapped the pic as he was turning his head. It looks like he is balancing those pedestals with his beard.

oregon

We took a trip to Oregon in August to visit nate and katie for our anniversary/last trip before baby comes. Its so nice to get up there where the air is fresh and you aren't melting in the heat.  We had so much fun just relaxing with friends. Take me back!

David is too friendly sometimes.  the manager at our camp ground loved him too. he would trap david over there for long stretches of time.  he was also super worried about me camping pregnant.  he let us top off our air mattress with his generator every night so that I would be comfortable, he even stopped by one afternoon to see if it needed to be topped off so that I could take a nap. Bless his soul.

We stopped and asked another camp guy if we could buy wood from him and he invited david inside his trailer. david wasnt coming out for a while and we got worried. but eventually we saw him coming with this armful of wood. Thought maybe it was the last time I was ever going to see him.
