We went whale watching on the north coast, in the same city that we went to a phallic museum. Yes, a phallic museum-they had hundreds of specimens....
Have you ever seen a hump back whale?
Have you ever imagined having one that was only like five inches long?
We have been wishing that we had a miniature hump back whale ever since, can you imagine?
It would still move the same, and still have a blowhole, and that tail would be so adorable.
David makes a good little sound effect for the miniature whale, if you ask i am sure he would do it for you.
When we were getting on the boat david was so excited, and i had to explain to him that just because we bought a ticket to go "whale watching" doesn't mean we will actually see a whale. In fact, we would probably only see a dolphin and a puffin or two. David's face dropped, and he was quiet for a while. Then of course i was totally wrong, two humpback whales circled our boat for about an hour, i am just a realist in a neon orange lab coat.
As much as i would like a miniature, i really loved the giant whale. They came close enough to let us see their faces, and they felt so wise and trusting.

Beautiful! I will show this to Ryan and I'm sure he will be so jealous. He infomed me today we are going to Alaska next year, no matter what. You guys should come.
