new years ever dinner at p.p. before we went to that crazy party.
i got to spend a few hours decorating the dining tent with flora from around the property, and spray painting place mats of brown paper for our dinner. its crazy what a little spray paint and some stencils will do, i might be addicted to thinking about all of the possibilities. i am planning all sorts of things to stencil at home.
the kids made snow flakes for christmas, and they added a few more for new years eve. this tent is so cozy, beni ouarain carpets line it wall to wall! david crocheted little bottle skirts that had sequins hanging from them for the water carafes. it was fun and fancy. i think i ate an entire platter of cheese with dried fig and apricot appetizers dipped in honey. really though, i did.
