we climbed mount sinai, this is said to be the place where moses received the 10 commandements. we climbed the 3750 "steps to penitence" to get to the top. it was a sweaty hike, but worth it. even the cup of noodles at the top that we had to pay $10 for was worth it. the first picture is saint catherine's monastery. it was built around the 6th century, but holds the well that moses was said to have met his wife at. and it also has a bush "from the same stock" as the burning bush.
