to go to the tree pod we flew into seattle. while there we kayaked around Harbor Island and across Elliot Bay. at first we were paddling past all of the shipping containers and it was kind of gross. it reminded me a of the seinfeld episode where they swim in the east river. but soon the sun came out and it was so pretty. we were also paddle length away from seals swimming around right in the city! i love seattle. while we were there we also ate at The Bastille and it is tied for the best dinner i have ever had.
