Thats right, valentines in vegas. usually the rugby tournament that we go to is in san diego, but this year it was vegas. so to embrace the awfulness that it is to be in vegas on valentines day, we went all out. we spent about $37 at the dollar store before we left buying the tackiest valentines day loot that we could get our hands on. fabric rose petals, floral bunches, heart boxes, cherry scented tea lights, heart glitter, little plastic swans, teddy bears, heart headbands, suckers that say "FOY YOU", etc. etc.
As Valentines night went on we were sick of smelling like smoke and eating at buffets, we got a little restless....so we made trails of rose petals from the elevators to random rooms on several floors, then we left goodies at their doors. it was hilarious to watch people's reaction as they got out of the elevator. Brenda witnessed a couple get off the elevator and follow the rose petal trail, the girl's eyes were hopeful, then the trail went to the door next to them. We never staked out long enough to see anyone arrive at their decorated door, but i'm sure it was great. I hope some deadbeat boyfriend took credit for our work. the games were fun too.

love the tackiness! chris and i should have at least acknowledged the holiday besides the rose fundraiser the boy scouts did in our ward. oh well there is always next year.
david's hair is awesome - really though.
if you guys end up over in jordan/syria this summer, he'll have an easy transition fitting in
