above is the view from the botanical gardens in wellington, nz. on of my favorite flowers is in that first picture, helleborus.
we went to the bay of islands in nz. everyone said it was a place we couldnt miss. we got there and didnt feel like being on a huge boat all day with 100 people and eating orphanage food at a lunch buffet. so we got on a speed boat that does everything in an hour and half. we pretty much just cruised around the whole bay driving past everything and then hit the road again. it was cold, and the boat was driving so fast your eyelids would flap if you tried to look forward.
