this is easter at our house, a little brunch and hanging out while david crochets masterpieces.

and the video is of easter celebrations in nicaragua where they celebrate for the whole week leading up to it. one of the festivities that we really enjoyed was carrying around a glass casket that had jesus in it. they went door to door giving blessings to each house and a marching band followed them. its worth watching the video, if you want to cut to about 0:50 you can hear the music they played while they held the casket at the door and swayed with it.

for a bit you can also see a friend that i made, he talked to me forever. i had no idea what he was saying. i told him several times that i didn't speak spanish, but he kept talking.
