We have a million projects going on right now, most of which are in the yard at our new place.
The best however, was David's easter/spring gift to me:
I have been really obsessed with light & shadow lately. David did a little installation in our meditation hut that demonstrated both really well. The meditation hut is at our new house and has previously been used as a shed, but it has much more potential and we have big plans for it. His installation consisted of a big mural of waves that served as a background for little bunny cut outs that were hung like marionettes in front of it. On the floor he arranged fifty brass candle holders (With no drip candles in them that had forced to drip the way he wanted to). At the head of the candles there was a little bunny trio holding a ranunculus in a vase. Off in the meadow there was a little doe with a candle on his back too, he was feasting on some green moss.
It turned out so great. The air from the candles made the marionette bunnies sway and twist, creating incredible shadows on the oceanic background. The light, shadows, smell of burning wax, and the warmth it created in the hut was such an amazing contrast to the cold night it was outside.

i can't believe he did all that for you, your one lucky girl. i'm so impressed with his creative skills! that video is rad, it almost sounds like an ocean in the background doesn't it?
That looks like a serious fire hazard -- I hope David had an extinguisher handy.
